how to secure your phpmyadmin
Steps
1. please see the link:  http://localhost/security/

make sure that your xampp are active

2. select your language

3. click the link on your page..

To fix the problems for mysql, phpmyadmin and the xampp directory simply use
=> http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php <=   [allowed only for localhost]

just follow the instructions and your good to go!!
